We had a wonderful stay! The chalet is particularly suited to a group of friends/family. Our hosts Nate and Marloes were very welcoming and the cuisine was excellent and portions were generous. The main living /dining area was very comfortable and the sauna and hottub were very relaxing after a days skiing. As the chalet is situated up the hill we left our skis overnight in the ski rental shop.
The chalet itself is well located, comfortable, with spacious bedrooms and although in need of some decor modernisation here
and there, the price was very reasonable so I have no complaints - other than the lack of a living room with sofas to relax on after
dinner - there's so much space I can't understand why the most important room (the living room) has not been
provided?
We stayed in the chalet over Christmas, a family of 10 guests. The location of the chalet is 2nd to none. It is literally directly opposite the main lift, and about 100 yards away from the most fantastic little Bar. Our chalet girls are outstanding, friendly and welcoming. The bedrooms were clean and large, and the bedding was a delight. Some of the meals were a little hit and miss, but on the whole, the food was plentyful and good. We will definitely stay in this place again, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others.
Travelling with the whole family, in ages from 10 to 79 years, we could not have done a better choice. The chalet was perfect, the hosts more than helpful and the meals perfectly prepared. We will definitely recommend Wens Chalets to family and friends.
